Training, Consultation, and Supervision
Training can be provided for groups of all sizes on a variety of topics related to disability. Sarah frequently does training and workshops on disability awareness, best practices for working with various forms of disability, the practice of disability adjustment counseling, common co-occurring mental health conditions, culturally competent counseling, and effective strategies for rehabilitation professionals. She also provides education on having a disability inclusive workplace or private practice. She works with non-profit agencies, private businesses, government organizations, professional associations, and schools.
Individual Training and Supervision
For therapists, social workers, psychologists, and other mental health professionals who want to increase awareness or specialize in working with people with disabilities or chronic illnesses, Sarah can provide one-on-one training or supervision. The disability community is continuing to grow, and there is a significant need for professionals who specialize in working with this population.
